Marvel Rivals has sparked a creative fire I haven’t felt in a while, and I’m excited to explore it more deeply. I've waited for this game eversince the beta playtest ended last July 2024. You’ll probably see more of that on my platforms.

GI will always have a special place in my heart. I wouldn’t be where I am today without it, and I owe so much to the adventures, the Spiral Abyss community, and every single person I've met thru GI.

The story so far is surprisingly easy to follow. It’s your classic “class divide” setup: idealists trying to innovate for the greater good, resistance just trying to get by, power-hungry people ruining it for everyone, and chaos erupting into war. Nothing convoluted — writers did a good job.

Thank you for the recommendations! The only moba I played years ago is DOTA 1 and 2, sadly I never picked up LoL. I'm too old for this (including the toxicity). 😂

But definitely checking the other games from the franchise that you mentioned!

Apparently, Riot Games dropped $250M on Arcane — both seasons, plus a huge marketing push. That makes it one of the most expensive animated shows ever. And imo? Worth it. If you want a masterpiece, you’ve got to invest, and the Arcane creatives deserves every penny.
