the state DFL CBRC found that there was sufficient evidence that the mayoral endorsement vote was flawed which led to the premature dropping of one candidate and were significant enough to overturn the endorsement for mayor to "no endorsement"

also it felt like Shaffer kept being like "well it's not the city's job, it's some other body's job" to so many questions, even if it rightfully should be part of the city's purview! Why are you running for city council if you don't think the city council should do anything??
