This lines up pretty nicely with my headcanon that the Mushroom War took place on the date of Adventure Time's real-life premiere in 2010.

Here's a VERY interesting background detail from Monochromicorn's receipt; in Fionna's World, it's the first of October 2024. This is the first time an unambiguous date has EVER been shown in Adventure Time. Of course, most of the show is set a thousand years in the future.
