The rich (including our elected officials) think we're parasites. This is why.

By extension, the opposites of these are also true. People considered "ugly" are perceived poorly, as mean or rude. Fat bodied folks are considered lazy, gluttonous with food, and super unhealthy. Poor people are seen as lazy, stupid, and, frequently, sub-human - especially by the wealthy... (4)

...and healthy, even if they are only thin due to metabolism and actually have many health problems. Wealthy people are seen as smart, capable, and hard-workers, even if they are only wealthy due to family money, and many don't work even half the hours most folks do. (3)

When I heard Musk say this on Tuesday, my assumption was that it was a programming issue. Because I can code and have written to databases and because I am familiar with other examples of default values being misinterpreted.
Yet somehow Musk isn't.
