As the school year comes to a close, grades are coming in.

For young Aspen:

Hunting: A+ Really has excelled at gathering mice and snakes. Frequently presents them in an elegant way.

Camouflage: C- Puts in great effort but low self awareness of own coloring.

Ted and Mocha being the laziest barn cats ever.
Two cats. Mocha a tortoise shell colored cat. Ted a black and white tuxedo colored cat. They are supposed to be barn cats hunting rodents but spend most of their time cuddled together in a ball like they are here on an outdoor blue chair.

First Oyster Mushroom flush from the farm. A day too long if I'm honest. I was just not able to harvest them yesterday.

Fungus!!! Shitake mushrooms to be specific. The trial run/mvp is going well. In typical nerd style, I'm working out how to use home assistant to automate misting and climate at scale.

Another one with the cone of shame. A mathematical formula of advice for all of you. P/A where P is the pets with cones and A is the number of human adults caring for said pets. If that number ever approaches one, get help. Maybe that help is more humans, maybe it's someone to knock sense into you.

Good luck with the required eight years of developing apps on Azure K8S experience. (Yes I realize it is probably just a wording thing and I’m being pedantic on a Friday afternoon.)

Floyd's primary role around here is to keep away coyotes. Usually it's just a bark and quick chase. Sometimes it's a longer adventure. This was a pretty aggressive and long chase. Note it also has about 200ft of elevation change. He's good at his job.
