so…i went on vacation for two weeks. the tomatoes are not loving 105 every day, but the okra went nuts!! 🌱

a lovely drippy harvest day! first green bean (letting another go to seed) off my cowpeas and three varieties of tomato! let the monsoons come in 🌱

harvested my first tomatoes of the season this week! this is a variety called punta banda, primarily a paste tomato, that i got from work. all four went into a celebratory ratatouille 🌱

took a one week vacation and came back to all my poppy seeds! 🌱 anyone got any tips on winnowing and cleaning?

garden update! some sweet peas r gettin away from me so i made bouquets out of them. culinary poppies in bloom, and i tore out some of my snap peas to plant cowpeas! spring has arrived in the sonoran desert 🌱
