Within SUSTAINWELL, we are creating micro based indicators which can help to monitor the sustainability and adequacy of all welfare state transfers including health care systems in face of ageing.

Questions of #gender are central concern for the SUSTAINWELL project expressed in the policy goal of creating gender and lifecycle balanced policies. The data obtained and the models derived can offer direct insights on policies needed to encourage greater equality

SUSTAINWELL investigates the behavioural reactions in key decisions throughout individuals’ lifetime. This will help to identify incentives and boost investment in human capital, productivity and employment, reaping the benefits of a longer life in the market economy.

We will investigate job design under social preferences, looking at how employers consider individuals’ social orientation when designing employment contracts. Our approach can improve this goal’s measurement by accounting for differences in age, participation, employment, and labour income.

SUSTAINWELL projection allows to capture the risk of job obsolescence - namely among the elder workers - and discrimination. Inequalities might be determined by accumulated adverse events over the years & have a negative impact on people’s life. That’s why a lifecycle approach must be implemented
