Lethal Company was a massive success and it oversold CoD because the type of genre and gameplay style people had never been seen before. the reason why Concorde was a massive failure didn't matter with the story or graphics or artstyle, but because we already have Overwatch and Team Fortress 2.

these games were made because of how interactive they were for their time but now there's only so much you can do to sell your game as the next best thing. We have amazing 3d graphics in the modern age, but now we want better gameplay mechanics, we want a game that's unique and they don't get it
