Don't ever be scared to talk!!! I've found some friends simply by accident if I saw them speak my language or be interested in something I was. It really takes just to walk up and say "omg! you like this too!"

Well a lot of people are up to chat or roleplay with anyone! there's an option to set your status as looking for roleplay or chat so you can find them. I see usually people chill around fandom areas either afk to just show off their pony or engaging in whatever conversation is happening around them
