I saw that and thought the same thing, but I caught this during the character select for city trial, it specifically has a prompt for players 2/3/4 to join in the corner so I think 4 player split screen is still here.

Just 100%'d metro gravity and I am loving this recent trend of retro style 3D platformers we've had the past few years. Pseudoregalia, Corn Kids 64, Big Catch Tacklebox, and now this all came out of nowhere and instantly became some of my favorite games.

its gotten so bad the only way to wear my warrior armor is to build for int and then cast a spell to turn int to str.

oh man they're upset that they have to explore in a metroidvania without obvious telegraphs and guidance lol. At least the comments in the thread are more reasonable.

My game of the year has gotta be The Big Catch: Tacklebox. Earning this view with no bugs, glitches, or online guides is an experience I've not had from a game in a LONG time.

I still have never played a game that's world and characters felt more human. While characters aren't mega complex, you see them react to real tragedy and emotion. With masks you can see how they react to people of different backgrounds. And with time travel you can fully explore each possibility.

Gameplay here has aged a bit, it's definitely more than a little clunky, but if you learn the movement it's really fun. I like following all the character's stories and the multiple campaigns. And the Chao Gardens make for one of the best reasons to keep playing it.

This is my favorite game. Writing is campy by today's standards but I prefer a story that can take itself seriously even when its goofy. And the combat system is still unmatched to this day imo. OST is beautiful too, especially the HD version.
