i am incredibly thankful for @janeislive.bsky.social's post highlighting that the houndmaster's dog can really *jump* in dbd; it has changed my life 😂

finally home and back to some dbd! ...the poodle, (who ive been calling "snuglas"), is not very cooperative 😂

and the search ability is just... really underpowered for sure. snug's radius is quite small for no real benefit; and and is also just pretty uncomfortable sometimes to direct in indoor maps especially. i want to see more reason as well to use the search ability in chase as well

snug also just gets stuck very often in spots where the follow-up redirect doesn't work how i think its intended. like here, where the tile has a slight edge around the side where snug has no option other than vaulting back

i do think though hm /really/ needs some cleanup before launch. snug (dog) is very fun, but seems a little inconsistent. sometimes he just stops mid-dash, he struggles on elevation, and he just doesn't dash where you tell him to, which leads to the killer being held back

Curious how other's experiences have been with the Haunted by Daylight event in #DBD so far... I've had quite some fun with it, but gotta say that Haunts are ridiculous. Definitely one of the more unhealthy-designed event abilities, but pretty funny I can't lie 😂
