I love using a yarn swift and winder to make cakes at home! I’ll center pull unless it sticks/tangles easily (like mohair) and then I’ll unwind from the outside. My cat lives for winding days!😄

My husband went to the LYS with me over the holidays when I needed to grab a couple skeins. I set a few by the register while I continued browsing and he went ahead and paid for them. It was a very sweet gesture but now he KNOWS!😄

It’s atrocious! I can’t imagine sharing/taking paid patterns (or anything else) and not understanding that it’s theft. Creatives already don’t make nearly enough for the time, effort, and heart that they put into their work.
