Limpy now and is still a mouser

Limpy when we found him (badly healed broken leg)

We had a feral cat sleeping with the chickens until we could catch him, he was skin and bones, he’s now a healthy chunk of an indoor cat with beautiful fur
November 13, 2025 at 1:52 AM
Or the cat just wanted a warm place to sleep- cats don’t hunt/kill chickens

I agree. His "gryopers" want to take over the movement. He's hoping Epstein takes down trump not because he cares about the victims but because he thinks it's an opening for him

Aerospace Engineering major and I still had to do it 😊
November 11, 2025 at 5:03 AM
I had to learn basic/minimal assembly and machine language in college. Hated it decided I didn't want to learn more and that I would never do it as a job (I never have)

They did it to keep to filibuster. Not to help anyone.
November 11, 2025 at 2:23 AM
If they didn't have an exit strategy from the get go then they should have made a fuss for a few days and signed it. Then signing it they should have gone on ALL social media that your premiums went up because Rs, Rs will reduce your benefits etc. It looks like they caved to keep the filibuster
November 11, 2025 at 2:19 AM
If they do then the R's have proved that the dem's always cave. Promises from R's are meaningless

I'm not all that familiar with the Chinese AI, so while it uses less computing power it can also be not be as good - that would make sense. But I agree they will pour huge investments into it
November 10, 2025 at 12:10 AM
We are well on our way to being Russia. A corrupt oligarchy run by billionaires with a paper tiger military because people will be stripping the parts out of everything to sell on the black market
November 10, 2025 at 12:03 AM
The Chinese have also been very successful at AI that uses far less computing power than what is being done here. They will eat our lunch because this country is run by corrupt morons. .
November 10, 2025 at 12:03 AM
I will say the Chinese have well thought out strategic priorities. They are funding and staffing those. We, on the other hand, have prioritized a dumb ass ballroom, ICE to terrorize brown and black people, private prisons, corruption and a kleptocracy.

The avg time for an unmanned space craft to reach mars is 6-10 months depending on planetary alignment. I know this because we had to work 80hr weeks to meet the planetary alignment window to launch. This is true with a variety of launch vehicles. Manned craft is different
November 9, 2025 at 10:04 PM
yes, when you prioritize that with money you can do a lot. But that does not negate that money drives times lines. China has built dams for hydro power with incredibly compressed times lines, the Chinese belt and road initiative. Those are a big priorities and they are funding it as such.
November 9, 2025 at 9:41 PM
The railroads and the internet didn't go anywhere either. They just took more time than the optimists thought because access to money is what drives time lines
November 9, 2025 at 8:19 PM
AI is a bubble - like the Internet bubble. Did the internet change the world yes, there was still a bubble that popped, recession followed. Railroads changed the world, in the 1840s it was still a bubble, it popped-recession. AI is a repetition of that which will slow it down because lack of money

I have a BS AeroE and a MS-CS. So with your MechE degree you know you were taught how to think. What I said the first time - the time frame from design/fab to launch was 5 years for the Europa mission Can you compress that more? eventually yes. Can you compress the time frame for funding decisions?
November 9, 2025 at 7:39 PM
yes, I'm near retirement. But losing a space craft is a lot more expensive then building it right the first time. An eng edu doesn't teach you "engineering" it teaches you math & how to think, solve problems, research them - the computer language you learn is out dated, how to think is not
November 9, 2025 at 7:26 PM
I say this as an engineer who worked on multiple unmanned space craft, several of the missions to mars, star dust, genesis and others.
November 9, 2025 at 7:08 PM
The builds are faster. For the Europa clipper final design and fab started in 8-19, it was launched in 7-24, 5 years. Deciding to fund it took a lot longer. Also don't compare commercial avionics to what is put on a space craft. There a lot more considerations - bleeding edge technology is too risky
November 9, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Everyone should watch the clips of him. He sounds panicked and deranged- economist, Chris Noland had a good you tube video and this meltdown
November 9, 2025 at 1:31 AM
He is such a tool...
