When the Occupy Wall Street movement first emerged many years ago, the media refused to cover it, even after tens of thousands of New Yorkers eventually got out on the streets to join the protest. It wasn’t until ABC Evening News featured a short story on it that the Occupy movement went viral.

Yes, but Comey wasn’t indicted in 2020 when Trump was still president (and before the election). Of course, by then, Trump was pinning all of his hopes on John Durham uncovering something earth shattering in his Russia investigation.

Point taken, but he wasn’t indicted in 2020. Trump was still in office then.

I think Comey was an equal- opportunity fucker. Biden didn’t prosecute him because there wasn’t any evidence. Ultimately, there’s that pesky little thing called evidence. The DOJ ordinarily will not seek an indictment for any case it can’t win. A jury won’t convict without evidence.

Kyle, perhaps you could explain. If Comey was guilty of anything substantial enough to indict, then why wasn’t he indicted and tried during Trump’s first term in 2017, 2018, 2019, or 2020?

The real question for me is, if Comey was guilty of anything substantial enough to indict, why wasn’t he indicted and tried during Trump’s first term in 2017, 2018, 2019, or 2020?

I’m surprised if Comey was indicted; however, we shouldn’t forget that Special Counsel John Durham was able to secure two indictments in his Russia investigations with flimsy evidence brought against Michael Sussmann and Igor Danchenko, both of whom were quickly exonerated by trial juries.

Fortunately, investigating is not the same as convincing a grand jury to bring back a true bill or a jury to convict without evidence.

I’m hoping these ranking officers remember that under military law, service members are required to disobey any order that requires a service member to commit a criminal act, violate U.S. law, the Constitution, or international law.

At what point, Professor, do you believe it is time the Blue states begin exploring soft succession? Please don’t use the Constitution as a justification against that because the other side has already seceded from the constitutional order.

Actually, the statue didn’t portray an accurate picture of Donald Trump. He should have been
depicted surrounded by 14 year-old modeling candidates from Eastern Europe.

Trump once demanded Andrew McCabe be prosecuted, and Barr’s DOJ tried unsuccessfully to convince a grand jury to indict. Lately, grand juries have been demonstrating they have highly functional BS filters when it comes to the standard of evidence they need to bring back a true bill for indictment.

Charles Darwin’s theory of “survival of the fittest” wasn’t just referring to the biggest or strongest of a species but also the most clever and intelligent. Those who are dumb enough to take medical advice from unproven, non-peer reviewed sources are most certain to prove Darwin’s theory correct.
