I'll probably change half of it if I had to redo it in 10 minutes, but I decided not to overthink it.

I watched Warren Beatty's Heaven Can Wait (1978), a nice romance with a fantasy twist about a quarterback who is taken too early in heaven and is sent back in the body of a rich man. It's a light, eccentric movie with a great cast, a feel-good attitude, and a lot of charm. I liked it a lot. #filmsky

This is one hell of promo pic for Predator 2 (1990). With something like that, you know you are in for a serious movie.

I have now watched "Ashin in the North," which explains why Jun Ji-hyun appeared for 10 seconds at the end of Kingdom S2. More than anything else, it is a bonus episode for more backstory about the mysterious plant. I would not qualify that as an essential watch, but it's well-made.

I watched David Lean's Brief Encounter (1945), the kind of romance that seems to only exist in classic movies. It's not my type of story per se, but I still liked it as the performances, especially Celia Johnson, were very good and the direction kept me engaged. #filmsky

Today's Comics is "The Comic Book History of Comics" by Fred Van Lente and Ryan Dunlavey

It’s the history of comics told in a comic book.
It’s about how the industry took form, the creators evolved in it, and the different creative movements.

I saw Out of the Past (1947) years ago but forgot about it. I decided to revisit it as everybody loves it. It's really good, from the direction to Mitchum, Greer, and Douglas' performances. I liked it a lot, but still, there's something missing for me. I don't know what exactly, though. #noirvember
