Incredibly jealous you got to meet this man. Sadly I haven't played Stray Children yet (I did buy it pretty much as soon as it came out though) Strange how someone with his gameography has been so overlooked.

I think the exact same way. France is also huge in animation, I think there would have been plenty of French VA's that would have done just as good a job as the English VA's did.

Understandable, I played it on a TV so the subtitles weren't really an issue.
Ill say it definitely improved my experience though but the English VA are definitely really good, but I wish they left the French words out because it sounds so stupid.

Every 'Merde' made me cringe beyond belief, I switched it to the French VA's eventually.

Thinking any dev would sacrifice the two biggest storefronts for 'marketing' is incredibly dumb.
They made the best of a dire situation and got the name of their game out, but it only sold 18k copies and released on a niche platform.
It's a very minor win.

The beautiful thing about your blender models, is that not only are you in full control of them, you'll improve and you'll become better and faster at making them.
Generative AI just rehashes shit, you can't become "good" at it, they can generate something else but they're not in control of it.

The AI 'artist' space is filled with people who 'want' to do something but can't be asked to actually put the work in.
They still want to be called 'artists' though because secretly they are jealous some people are actually willing to put in the work.
Art is both important and worthless to them.
