The recent EO with the words gold, standard and science in it is laughable. The Sec of HHS’s anti vaccine nonsense is based on the most infamous case of scientific fraud in the 20th C. A diverse well funded and large scientific community is the best bet at avoiding fraud and bias.

One of my favorite quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” 
 
Today, we can honor his legacy by working to build a more just future. 
 
Because while progress takes time, it is always worth fighting for.
