I just delivered this painting to my good friend Terry. The painting is of her camp on Flying Pond in our neighborhood in Maine. It is a lovely home right on the water and the site of many good times with friends and family. I’m happy to say she loves it!

One of my daughter’s friends commissioned three paintings of their two dogs as a gift for his wife. I worked from photos; a larger one of both dogs and two individual portraits from when they were puppies. They have such expressive faces! Fun to do.☺️

After seeing a John Singer Sargent exhibit last year, I’ve wanted to work on how I paint fabric. As I was progressing on this painting, I realized just how difficult it is to do. I eventually liked what I did but for different reasons.
