New Years Eve seems so long ago and we were so innocent then… we have much work to do and ….we need to light another boat.

New Years Eve seems so long ago and we were so innocent then… we have much work to do and ….we need to light another boat.
Yesterday we discovered our lovely swans are dying from Avian flu. We watch them build nests, sit on their eggs (which always seems like forever), carry their little chicks around, teach them to swim…. it is heartbreaking. It’s also a reminder to me to appreciate and focus my energy appropriately.

My life is generally simple and wonderful and I am very fortunate. Come visit me here for a break
Now to feed the sheep, fill their water bucket, and play with them for awhile. The fresh air will be good.
