How much literacy was there ever? Bracket all that. Even in the most elite circles, the ability to give yourself to an immersive textual experience is ending. This has enormous implications for a tradition that has meaningfully inscribed itself textually. And part of what you came to university in the humanities to do was to read books. But you can't anymore because nobody can read them. So now what we can do is give people short sections from books and ask them to do stuff with those short sections of books. Dramatize them. Discuss them. Perform them. Enact them. Sing them. Memorize them. Cut them up into little pieces and stick them on the walls of their friends dorm rooms. Because the stuff that's in those books, we aren't going to lose. We're going to carry elements of the tradition forward. So we are moving into a culture of orality. But we have a humanistic structure within modern colleges and universities that is still rooted in textuality. But that's finished.

Never thought I would ever have a 10 year anniversary. All my life I was told to tone myself down if I wanted to find a partner. Nope. Then I met someone who knows exactly who I am and doesn't want me to be less. As beautiful as this bouquet is, that is the real gift.
Ivory roses, lilac coloured daisies, orange rises and gerberas, darker purple little flowers among green leafy flowers. There are also a couple bright pink flowers in the bunch. I don't know what everything is but it is a bright and happy bouquet.

First, Plaintiffs have shown at least serious questions going to the merits of their equal protection claim as follows. See Mont. Const. art. II, § 4. The Act discriminates on the basis of transgender status, intersex status, and sex. See Cross v. State, Cause No. DV-23-541, 2023 WL 6392607,⁸ Order Granting Plaintiffs' Motion for Preliminary Injunction at *8-9 (Mont. Fourth Jud. Dist. Ct., Missoula Cnty., Sept. 27, 2023), aff'd, Cross by & through Cross v. State, 2024 MT 303, 560 P.3d 637. Because transgender status is a suspect classification and because equal treatment on the basis of sex is a fundamental right, the Act is subject to strict scrutiny. See id. at *9-11 & n.7. [Highlight begins] The Act fails strict scrutiny because it is motivated by animus and supported by no evidence that its restrictions advance its purported purpose to protect women's safety and privacy. Days after immigration officers arrested a prominent pro-Palestinian campus activist, administrators at Columbia University gathered students and faculty from the journalism school and issued a warning. Students who were not U.S. citizens should avoid publishing work on Gaza, Ukraine and protests related to their former classmate's arrest, urged Stuart Karle, a First Amendment lawyer and adjunct professor. With about two months to go before graduation, their academic accomplishments or even their freedom could be at risk if they attracted the ire of the Trump administration.
