During the #StateOfTheUnion I decided to help write a teacher-facing @stemteachingtool.bsky.social to help educators understand 8 Climate Literacy principles decided by 15 US federal agencies in 2024—so they can help future generations build the decarbonized world we need.

Can anyone explain to me like I'm 3, how the EO to End Radical Indoctrination in K12 Schools isn't in fact indoctrination? #EduSky

Serious question.

I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases)

Fun fact about teaching at my Danish school: when we are sick, we’re not required to write sub plans because we’re sick.

The subs are paid well to come up with their own activities with the students. We also have the same staff of subs all year, so the students know them fairly well.
