I hate housechores but sometimes I find myself thinking we are losing an important art. Not in a tradwife way, but in a "dang the girls were onto something" way. Like taking your frustrations out on rugs, duvets, etc with a fun little rug beater. Sometimes you just got a hit something.

Enough doomscrolling for me. Here's a cute little thrift haul I found recently!
An extremely yellowed, fold up scale that was made in HK from the 80s. I love the simplicity and tactility of the folding mechanic. It even has a little tare adjuster that's a lil finicky.

Another surprise treasure when browsing the Japanese manga at the BookOff. Ilthe spine caught my eye, then I was like... Rasputin?? Then while flipping through... Is this Junji Ito???
It was. I don't know much about it other than it was based on an autobiography of this nationalistic politician.

I find that as things become MORE terrible my brain yearns for unga bunga.
I miscalculated a shelf depth, and improvised with a piece that would be slightly too much. I prefer hand tools to power tools and man does it feel good to hit something over and over again. 10/10 I highly recommend.

Flu project, done! Hacked a broken crank sit stand desk I found on FB marketplace to hold up my old ass cintiq. Part of my forever journey of finding a comfortable desk layout.

I missed the beta thanks to PSN being down for the majority of it, but its ok I got this weird sheet of fish from the MonHun cafe that my brother visited. I have that going for me. 🫠
