I do go to our Kroger store (Frys) if the above don't have what I need. I'm grateful for options and I know not everyone has them.

The past is subjective, the future filled with our hopes and fears. Both avoid the very real present. It is the only time we have any control over and any possibility of seeing for what it is. The present is where we stop thinking and start working to create our desires.

It's sad to see. I was an educator for a couple decades when I was younger. I personally think schools have enough funding, but need to put at least 50% of the funding they do have into hiring educators. A teacher is the most important classroom tool, more so than computers, new text books, etc.

Ebay, Etsy, Costco, A lot of times, I will search and see the results on Amazon and then go straight to the manufacturers website and see that they offer those items at a similar price. You will have to give up the free prime shipping and easy returns. It depends on what I'm shopping for.

I haven't shopped Amazon since Trump took office! There are alternatives. They may cost a little more, but they don't exploit their workers or sell goods from countries with human rights abuses. Amazon's whole supply chain is a bit suspect.
