Trying to capture the tones of color are difficult, reds like to blowout.

I want to replace these tubers or ones very similar. I think I found leafy gall and didn't keep many tubers except one plant that seems fine. We'll see in the spring how it looks growing out.

I don't have a great photo of the plant itself this year. The leaves are darker and reddish compared to other dahlias (who are new to me this year). It seems to be more of a landscape dahlia, as it doesn't get too tall and stems are fine for mason jar bouquets, but not long.

All I wanted was her name, because I love this plant. They think it might be Karma Fuchsiana. I don't think that's right.

Photos of KF I find online are way more pink and bright yellow. This bloom is hard to photograph, but runs a deeper color and the accent is softer golden yellow.

Mosquito netting, it's a smaller "hood" of it to put in over a hat and face to keep the skeeters from biting your forehead and buzzing in your ears.
