This happens even more than you can imagine. Children with a misdirected immune assault in their brain, called PANS, are denied IVIG every day in this country. I’d say the suffering for the children and their families is unimaginable but you clearly understand it very well and I’m so sorry for that

A dozen states have had to mandate coverage. Health insurance companies are in it to make money not pay for care people pay premiums for. It’s unconscionable. The suffering of these children and their families. Is heartbreaking.

I don’t celebrate it but let me tell you this. I’m working on trying 2 get a bill passed n Michigan 2 mandate treatment coverage for children w/ PANS. Imagine paying premiums each month, desperately needing treatment 4 your child u can’t afford & being denied over & over. It’s a desperate situation
