But before how much damage is done? I'm newly retired and I need my 410k to support me until I reach 70 in 5 years. If the market drops much more, I don't know how I'll support myself.

We've never been here before. And I'm becoming more doubtful we'll ever have elections again. Congress needs to work with other leaders to organize a revolt. I don't know how else we can save our democracy.
