Cowboy, poet, former large animal veterinarian...wait...no, just the last one. Crossed over to the dark side...small animal vetmed. I'm too old to get kicked in the head again. RIP Baxter Black.
First time you have appeared in my timeline and it's a follow. You clearly take excellent care of your dogs. Sorry about your mum. I hope it gets easier to bear with time. Back to lurking now.

My daughter played womens rugby in college for 1 year. I was able to make 1 game. She took down an opponent like a lioness. 8 yrs ago and I'm still in in awe of her prowess.

Sorry to learn of your grandmother. I hope she recovered ok. "Before there were cars" is where Brucella (relapsing fever) belongs. Pasteuization kills Brucella.

No. I suspect it may be harmful on cookware because it kills indoor pet birds minding their own business and breathing the air in the kitchen if the pan it coats overheats. Canary in a kitchen, if you will. It may be perfectly innocuous as a surgical mesh. Not vaporized and inhaled, you see.

I propose that economic, monetary wealth has not terribly much to do with intelligence. Even more so for generational wealth (aka luck). Self involvement, craven-ness, greed...sure. "lnfluencing" is not positively correlated with classical intelligence (speaking of rfkjr).

Respectfully, wealth can greatly decrease chances of exposure, degree of exposure, and can greatly improve medical outcomes if exposed. Probably won't help if an enormous asteroid strikes, though, so we've got that going for us.

First job as a professional, pulled 5 calves over Labor Day weekend. Alternate meaning to the "labor" part.

On the other hand, if MJF is on, maybe I'll watch Maher. Everybody wins.

Also I like Star Trek, but haven't kept up with spinoffs past DS9.

While feline panleukopenia is the virus that mutated into canine parvo virus, which infects dogs, neither virus infects the other species. Dogs don't get panleukopenia virus and cats don't get canine parvo.

Thought this was The Onion being humorously outrageous until I got to the hacksaw part and realized this is life now.

Thanks. With the FDA being mentioned, I was wondering if there was some kind of raw bison milk market in the US.
