LBJ is my favorite president. Where have all the giants gone? These days our elected representatives are either too frightened or too attached to their lobbyist money to serve the needs of their constituents. Don’t let them forget the leopards will eat their faces too.

Small potatoes, all things considered, but I think the Big Shrink and shittification has hit Fritos. The latest batch is narrow, thin, slightly greasier but less flavorful. C’mon guys, leave us something.

The best thing this week is the discovery that my two big holly trees are not only bee and butterfly magnets in spring but they also draw flocks of birds with their fresh berries!
