I would get in trouble by management for scheduling meetings the same time as the tie in meeting but I didn’t give two shits. Do you want me to be productive the rest of the day or pissed off I had to listen to this guy’s shenanigans all day.

Every time I would bring it up to my manager that the meeting is stupid, they would defend my team lead and say that it is an important meeting. That’s when I said screw it and started scheduling meetings at the same time so I would not have to attend this meeting.

This meeting was very nonsensical because 1. It could just be an email and 2. Important communication between what goes on between shifts could just be an email, phone call, or teams chat

I still get triggered by someone saying “Good afternoon, everyone. Today I (insert your whole morning and everything you did yesterday on second shift here).”
