Hi, everyone! I write YA fantasy novels for teens of all ages. My best-known series include the Heir Chronicles, The Seven Realms, and Shattered Realms series. My latest series, Runestone Saga, centers on Norse mythology and vikings behaving badly. I also post on Substack substack.com/@cindachima

I called my GOP rep, Chuck Edwards (NC-11) to congratulate him on another week of paid vacation while military members, TSA, air traffic controllers, work without pay and President Trump fires other workers. I asked why he wasn't in Washington, and his aide said, "There's nothing to do there."

I just received this “survey" from Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) Clearly, he has no interest in knowing what his constituents think about a president who uses the justice department to target his perceived enemies. Shame on you, Congressman.

To prevent a government shutdown, Democrats are asking Republcans to reverse Medicaid cuts and continue premium subsidies for people under the Affordable Care Act. Otherwise, the monthly premium for a pre-retired elderly couple making $90K a year would skyrocket from $628 per month to $2642.

If we are going to headline the race and sexual orientation of every non-white, non-Cis, non-male perpetrator, I think we should apply that rule to everybody, e.g. 'heterosexual white male slaughters 20 first graders and 6 adults at Sandy Hook Elementary.'

Call your congressional representative and ask them if they agree when President Trump says that the Epstein files are a hoax and that nobody cares. If they do not, demand that they vote for Rep Massie’s resolution .

A grand jury refused to indict "sandwich guy" on felony assault charges. An 8-10 year jail sentence for throwing a sandwich when Trump has moved child trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to a luxury prison camp with work release privileges? Really? People have more common sense than that. #EpsteinFiles

We can’t afford to provide healthcare or feed children and the working poor. We cannot afford to do the science that prevents and cures diseases. But we have the money to make war against American cities and round up those who do some of the hardest jobs in this country. Is this what you voted for?

To governors and legislators in blue states: please do whatever is necessary to counter Republican gerrymandering in Texas and elsewhere. I've been working for fair maps for years, but we cannot allow them to cheat their way to victory. Until we can fix this—scorched earth and gloves off
