A product review from the Blick.com website with a partial line in a pink box starting with "No one on Utube...": Four stars, Very good. Comments about Blick Studio Artists' Colored Pencil Set - Set of 48, Assorted Colors. They are a little scratchy, but color choice is good, price good. Not too scratchy either that I can't get used to. They have a high volume of wax in them. Prismacolors had only a bit more saturation of color, but more expensive and their cores are off. Some have complained of them repeatedly breaking. Blicks seem tougher. I'd suggest getting a pencil from each manufacturer in a similar color to try out before investing in a set. No one on Utube can tell you want is the best but you! Influence yourself! I'm using these in combo with Farber polychromatic a good combo for me..wax and oil based pencils. Decided I might occasionally post a craft here. This is my current WIP, a self-designed stranded colorwork cowl. It's my fifth colorwork project and I finally figured out how to catch floats for it.
My left hand holds my knitting project up in front of the chart I'm working from where it's displayed on a screen. The design is art deco inspired and I've knit about a fifth of it so far. The dominant color is light gray and the contrasting color is dark blue. The project has about an inch of 1x1 ribbing at the bottom. One pink, flower-shaped stitch marker separating a repeat is visible on the knitting needle holding up the work.

We lost Aura a year ago today, and tomorrow we'll have had Gracie for 5 months. I think about Aura every day, but Gracie is very distracting 💗💗💗

Pit bulls generally don't like water, but this one will stand in the yard in heavy rain happily and never met a puddle she didn't want to play in. We had to buy multiple collars and special dog wet wipes because she gets filthy like twice a week minimum.

Gracie is slowly improving—thanks so much for the advice, friends! Here are some of her recent adventures. The pibble look really comes out when she's tired 😂
Gracie, a small hound/pibble mix dog, lays on a lawn while chewing a Kong Frisbee. As of three weeks ago, it was the best thing she had ever encountered in her life. Gracie, a hound/pibble mix dog, lays on the floor while staring lovingly at a microwaved yak cheese treat (microwaving the stub for 90 seconds makes it blow up into a crunchy brick) that, when she first encountered one two weeks ago, was the best thing she had ever seen in her life. In between loving stares, she played with it and rolled around near it for a solid 30 minutes. Also, it was delicious. She has now had three and they remain the very best treat ever. Gracie, a hound/pibble mix dog, playing in the large kiddie pool by biting the water. She does this with her drinking water also so it wasn't a surprise, but watching her run around in circles doing it was pretty hilarious. Possibly still the most fun she has ever had in her life (as of a week and a half ago). Gracie, a hound/pibble mix dog, laying on the porch floor after playing very hard. She came inside and slept for three hours, lol.

Yep, that's where we're at. She's happy in her crate if we're not home but whines dramatically if we are so we haven't used it for naps, but we'll try it because she's definitely not sleeping enough. I've only had older dogs, so I didn't know this meme was basically fact...

I didn't remember to post about this here, but my family acquired a new dog 6 weeks ago. Her name is Gracie and she's a cuddle bug from 12-4 pm and a demon from 6-9 pm and 5-10 am. We're hanging in there. Advice welcome.
