Have any other artists been getting AI generated emails asking to purchase artwork? It’s clearly a scam but I’m struggling to see how it works. This has happened a few times now.

Back in grad school I was on a kick of drawing dead bugs and animals, which encouraged people to lead me to roadkill and bring dead animals to my studio.
One of my favorite finds from this period was a dead moth that a friend brought me on an avocado leaf.
