I think about all the ELCA Lutheran church ladies who spent years helping Hmong, Somali and other immigrants arrive and settle in the Twin Cities over recent decades.
These are kind but stern of heart people who will not accept having their quiet generosity negated by corrupt, truculent jerks.

We finally made the move. It is wild how much better a platform feels when it isn’t being run like a billionaire’s personal fever dream. Bsky actually works, the feed is clean, and I didn’t have to pay $8 for the privilege of being ignored by bots. X marks the spot where social media went to die. 🦋✨
