Not often that I post on social media, but when the CDC has become so politicized that you can’t trust anything they do any longer, I think it is worth mentioning. These types of decisions will end up killing people, we just don’t know how many yet. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/05/h...

The customer service I have received from FedEx regarding a lost package is the worst I have ever received. In two weeks I have been told that it is lost, that it was found, and then they can't find it again. Absolutely terrible. #FedEx

Everyone needs a Sophie Cunningham in their corner. Everyone needs an advocate. Now the WNBA has given her a stage to show just how mismanaged the league is. I hope it all gets put on display and the league is forced to take accountability.

@wnba.com really looking forward to how the violence against Caitlin Clark is justified in Sophie Cunningham’s lawsuit. The entire league management team and ref staff need to be dismissed and restructured. The league is out of touch and completely incapable of running effectively or ethically.

Regan got it, why can’t anyone in the current administration get it? I suspect it is because Regan actually cared about his country, even if not everything he did turned out well. www.instagram.com/reel/DICro5g...

I do not understand why anyone is paying the ridiculous prices the scalpers are charging for the new AMD and NVidia GPUs right now. What good reason is there to pay 2x+ the MSRP for these cards? Patience people, patience!

One of my favorite lines from the new Martin Hench novel by @doctorow@mamot.fr - “Do good, try things, follow through.” A solid philosophy for all to live by. I feel like it is particularly relevant to credit unions, where our members need more support from good organizations than ever before.

If my experience at the local Starbucks tonight is any indication then it is no wonder why they are laying off people. Slowest service I have ever seen in a drive through. Your coffee isn’t worth waiting 20 minutes for.

I have wanted a PC with dual Pentium Pro 200 MHz CPUs since I was a kid in high-school. It was my dream setup. I can find the CPUs, but I can’t find the motherboard/case to go with them anymore. If anyone has a line on where to find such a thing, let me know.

Deployed a new web app using Laravel Forge this afternoon. Another little app to support one of my favorite twitch streamers that I am a moderator for for. Love these little side projects.

Trying to get into journaling to improve my focus and clarity on what matters most. So far it has proven to be therapeutic if not insightful. I am also using this as a chance to begin writing with a fountain pen which is more fun than I would have thought.

I am getting so tired of being trapped in the AI hype cycle right now. We as technologists need to be doing more to provide people with fact vs fiction when it comes to AI, ML, and how effective these tools are. It’s not healthy to be oblivious to potential pitfalls of these types of technology.

I’m really confused as to how a law passed by both chambers of congress and upheld by the Supreme Court is not being enforced today. I’m not saying I agree with the TikTok ban, but I thought we were a country that believed a little bit in the rule of law.

I would love if there was a way to filter out posts on LinkedIn that have certain keywords in them. I would immediately filter out anything that had the word "sales" in it. My feed would be so much better then.
