Tremane Wood is scheduled to be executed in Oklahoma on November 13th.

Lance Shockley is set to be executed tonight in Missouri. Last week, the Missouri Supreme Court denied a stay of execution, and yesterday, Governor Kehoe denied clemency. Shockley maintains his innocence in a case with no forensic evidence linking him to the crime. 1/2

Back in 2002, Brian Wharton led the charge against Robert Roberson. Now, he's fighting for Robert's freedom and urging Gov. Abbott to stop his execution before it's too late.

Edward Wright was wrongfully convicted of murder in 1985 in MA. The only physical evidence against Wright was a shoeprint with blood. The prosecution failed to disclose that a break-in occurred in the apartment when it was still an active crime scene. 1/2

Douglass Haynie was wrongfully convicted in 1993 of a shooting death in Maryland. At trial, firearm examiner Joseph Kopera testified that the bullet from the scene was consistent with the test-fired bullet from the gun in Haynie’s household. 🧵

Jeffrey Abramowski was wrongfully convicted of murder in 2006 in Brevard County, FL. The DNA analyst from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement testified that Jeffrey could not be excluded from the material under the victim’s fingernails. 🧵

Charles Collins was wrongfully convicted in 1995, along with Brian Boles, for the robbery and murder of a New York man. The case involved threats and abuse from police as well as false shoe print comparison evidence. 1/2

On the left is the composite sketch the eyewitness helped create. On the right is Charles Flores, the man on death row for the crime. The witness described the perpetrators as “white males” with “long, dirty hair”. Charles Flores is Hispanic and had very short hair.
