Well, that's been a great summer! And a few weeks back we also had a very well-attended lunchtime talk, on biodiversity net gain and a recent pollen research. Now we're back at it with regular posting, regular lunchtime talks, and a big smile on our faces. Happy new year everyone!

"Into the Wild" is a new project on rewilding and the historic environment, led by Prof Nicki Whitehouse, Prof Emma Jenkins, and Dr Kim Ward. They have developed a survey for landowners, nature managers, ecologists, archaeologists and historic land managers around the topic of rewilding. 1/2

A good news story to share: A £5m project to boost #wildlife and tackle climate impacts has started on land cared for by the @nationaltrust.org.uk. The Garfield Weston Foundation has delivered £5m in funding to deliver the three year-long project called Turning The Tide For Nature.
