This game rules, I'm not *that* into the art style but otherwise it got really unique mechanics, and there's really cool lore dumps after each level about the setting. also I spoke on the charming tutorial dialogue when I was trying to sell my friend on it, I think that's a big part of the charm

Highly recommend the demo for Rainchaser by @kornodd.bsky.social, I felt compelled to do a no-death run of the stage which is something I rarely bother with. Finally managed it after a few tries!

Still only got a C rank though ;w;

Official statement from Coventry Trans Pride on the recent Supreme Court ruling

COVENTRY TRANS PRIDE Statement on the United Kingdom Supreme Court's Ruling The UKSC (Supreme Court of the United Kingdom) has recently ruled on the For Women (Ltd) vs Scottish Ministers case, in which they didn't listen to trans people or organisations (despite the decision affecting trans people almost exclusively), listening only to "gender critical activists" and uncritically accepting their framing that trans rights are in conflict with women's rights. The court ruled that trans people are legally classed under anti-discrimination law as their "sex assigned at birth" (described as "biological sex", incorrectly presented as a simple, immutable binary), denying the legitimacy of trans people, amongst other highly reactionary attitudes against people existing in ways perceived to go "against biology/nature" such as a definition of what a lesbian is based only on people's assigned sex at birth. This means that it now may be legal to discriminate against and exclude trans people - without any need to present an argument for its necessity - from places such as: * Hospital wards * Domestic violence shelters * Charities with gender requirements for their boards * Gendered toilets By doing this, it means trans people may be unable to even go to the hospital or flee abusive situations without fear of encountering further discrimination. In practice this will reduce the ability for trans people to exist in public or access public services, even more than the current level of discrimination already causes. This will kill and endanger trans people, as a direct result of the delegitimisation of our identities. This ruling also contributes to the government's long-running, authoritarian campaign to deny people's self-determination and autonomy to exist in ways not approved by themselves. From suppression of protest/organising, to restricting the ability for disabled people to live by threatening PIP benefits, to aiding in the genocide of Palestinians, and to coercing trans teenagers through a torturous cisgender puberty just because it is "natural", the authorities in our society won't stop until the only possible way to live and organise is in narrowly defined ways they approve of, and everything else is snuffed out forever. No autonomy, no self-determination, and no tools to seize those things - only conformity and obedience as a cog in the structures of conservative society, state and capital. Coventry Trans Pride condemns this ruling by the UK Supreme Court, and rejects the future it is helping to construct, in the strongest possible terms. Trans men are men, trans women are women, nonbinary people are real, and all of us have the right to obtain the means by which we can exist as who we are, whether they be societal, technological, or both, regardless of government approval! We call for trans people and our allies to organise and fight back - start mutual aid networks, distribute information, form affinity groups, and coordinate resistance to authoritarianism on a larger scale. Don't go quietly. Solidarity Forever!
