Sadly I don't think this will get better before it gets worse. Anything a corpo can do to save time or money will be done unless active boycotts are done. Even more unfortunate is that I don't think there's enough people to make that happen when it comes to using AI in production or customer service

But they should have been more open about it being used during development for placeholder assets among other things. I personally don't find it to make the game worse as long as everything in the final game was created and curated by the final team, but I can understand why many would.

I don't agree with them using it and you are right that as it exists today AI is a plague upon the world. I can understand why they would consider it given how time consuming and expensive development can be(especially for a new studio)
