so the manga is great as a refresher and to follow the original source material but I do think that it’s worth watching it play out in motion too :D it lets u sit with each moment for a bit longer

I will say tho I think the anime does a better job at the actual battle sequences and impactful transformations .. cos goku becoming the legendary super saiyan in Z Kai was CRAZYYYYYY to witness but in the manga it happened within a panel 😭 same w major character deaths

I like that the manga doesn’t have filler arcs but I do wish we had more opportunities to flesh out the interpersonal relations between the Z fighters .. like how tf did Vegeta and Bulma even bond

I luv my little gohan 🥺 and I like the trio w Bulma and Krillin hehe and I couldn’t stand Vegeta when I watched the anime but I’m tolerating him more in the manga I’ll admit that he is an interesting character and has some of the best development .. he’s low key funny too😒

I’ve never liked master roshi but he is a lot tamer in Z than he was in og dragon ball 😭 like this man is insufferable and everybody pandering to him sucks too!

I love bulma down that’s my girl 🙌🏽 and chichi so adorable she has only been there for a chapter so far tho it’s the men that are 🙄👎🏽🍅 for me
