thanks for the suggestions! i haven't played brogue or powder yet. I think I have both of them in a folder but havent gotten em. TGGW however, is amazing. I've been playing it a ton lately.

On a side note, do you have trouble switching between old roguelikes? If get so confused remember the controls between different games

I did 😅. It's been the least frustrating experience I've had with any hardware so far. If I dont gel with a filter or envelope I can always yoink them out and put something else in there. Which is two of the main things that always bother me about most synths.

If you dont mind me asking-- What was the decision behind choosing this angband variant vs regular angband or any other variant? I always see all these variants for angband and nethack and wonder why I'd play one of those vs the other.

oof. That really sucks. I was in that server for a bit and didnt really follow it. Coincidentally, I ended up dipping out of the server like the same day you posted about this on twitter. Anyways, it sucks they were being dicks to you like that. No deserves that shit.
