Time blurred into an endless, frayed thread. Ferdinand did not know what day, or honestly what month it was anymore. Thinking about the things he used to value in his life. Riding horses. Drinking tea with his friends. Parties at the capital and the Aegir estate. Sharing a tea and coffee date with… Hubert. He blinked back tears, thinking about the man who he loved. Hubert was dead. And it was his father’s fault. Desperate to find something else to think about, Ferdinand took his axe and split open another piece of wood. He had become adept at woodchopping recently. It was a way to clear his mind, to focus on a specific goal instead of the looming sorrow that haunted him at every waking moment that he was not occupied.

For #LysitheaWLWWeek Day 6: Crest removal, I wrote an #edelys fic about Lysithea getting her second Crest removed by Hubert and Linhardt, and her wife Edelgard supporting her through it. It also features some Edelgard/Hubert friendship work.

He went in and out of the room several times, grabbing various chemicals as he tested her blood for various properties. His hair was tied up in a ponytail, so he wouldn’t get it in the chemicals. She had wondered why Ferdinand had allowed Hubert to grow it so long and yet unkempt. Regardless, despite the fact that he was rather irritating at times, he was certainly good at his work. The day has finally come for Lysithea to remove her Crests. She couldn't do it with the help of her wife, Edelgard.

I dressed up as Bowser for Halloween because our work did a Mario-themed dressup. It was fun. The costume was very popular! Although some students thought I was Charizard.

Gender difference between units! There are other minor differences, but these are the ones that are the most relevant.
Gender Differences Male units have 25% higher base strength than female units. Female units have 25% higher base magic than male units. Male units can access Bard, whereas female units can access Dancer.

Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Speed and Turns Each character has a Speed stat, which is based on class, equipment, and level. It affects how quickly they get turns. Your turn happens when your CT gauge reaches 100. If you are 5 speed, you get a turn every 100/5 (20) ‘ticks’, whereas if you are 6 speed you get a turn every 100/6 (17) ticks. Choosing to wait without first moving or acting gives you an extra 20 CT, or 40 for both, speeding up your next turn. In the lower left corner is a girl pointing upwards toward the text.

Charge times are one of FFT's trickiest mechanics.

One thing I forgot to add: enemies can hit you while you are charging and inflict 1.5x as much damage with a physical.
Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. “Charge Time” describes how much time / actions a move takes to go off. You can see it in the tun order when you cast the spell, on the left side of the screen. Spells can be targeted on the Unit, so it follows them when they move if they move during Charging, or Tile, which stays on the Tile even if the person in the center square moves. Enemies can redirect spells to you if they move to a square you are adjacent to. So be careful about targeting enemies who move before the spell goes off! Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. For Beginners: JP Boost is a very powerful Support skill because it makes you gain JP 1.5x faster, unlocking new classes and abilities faster. Movement +1 and +2 are both very useful for getting to the enemies more efficiently. Black Mage is very powerful in Chapter 1, so having at least one on the team can help you be successful! Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Each character has an associated “Zodiac”, based on their birthday. Based on this sign, they will have three potential interactions with other units. Best Zodiac: Will do 150% damage, and increased status rates. Only applies to human enemies. Monsters will be ‘Bad’ rather than ‘Best’. Good/Bad: Will do 125% or 75% damage, and increased/decreased status rates. The Zodiac affinity chart is attached to this post. Note: The signs that are three away from your current one are ‘Bad’, the ones that are four away are ‘Good’, and the one that is the opposite is ‘Best” Example: Taurus Bad: Leo, Aquarius (three back and three forward) Good: Virgo, Capricorn (four forward and four back) Best: Scorpio On the top right, there is a icon of a girl holding up her finger, as to teach someone.

Faith is the spellcasting ability. Your spells hit harder and status ailments/buffs hit more often! It also causes spells against you to hit harder, and status to be inflicted more often! It can be a double-edged sword, but it is overall useful to have.

Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. “Faith” determines how good a character is at casting spells. The higher the faith, the better the character’s spellcasting is. Both attack magic and buffing is affected by the Faith modifier. It also determines how much damage a character takes from enemy spells. The higher the faith, the more damage a character takes from enemy spells! But Faith also lets your allies inflict positive status effects such as Haste, Protect, and Shell. Day 2: What the hell is 'Brave' and 'Faith'? Why do they matter so much for building a good character in FFT?

First up: Brave. Vital for Monk especially due to the damage formula, but the status is useful for Reaction abilities on all characters. #fft #finalfantasytactics #ffttic
Some tips for playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. "Bravery” determines the rate that reactions go off. A person with 49 brave would have a reaction go off 49% of the time. It also determines the damage you inflict with fists (and later in the game, samurai and special knight swords.) The higher your brave, the more damage you do with these weapons!

The average IQ of an Ivy League undergraduate is about 125. The total freshman class size of all the Ivies plus Stanford is about 15,000. Each year, 57,000 Americans are born with IQs over 130. We can fill our elite universities with our own higher-quality students.
