As a former library worker, let me add a detail to further reinforce that libraries are good for authors: most ebooks have a digital circulation limit designed to mimic the wear and tear of physical checkouts, after which the library purchases replacements. So more digital checkouts mean more sales

If it's intelligently designed, it's the like every project I've seen in my professional life: full of compromises, struggles to work around the arcane decisions of predecessors long gone, potentially functional but barely holding together by the deadline.

The sequel Joe and Mac 2 was one of my favorite hidden gems I used to play with my brother on the SNES. Some great memories there!
