The difference in the UK is that the prediction will likely give the person access to social services interventions and mental health care to prevent them committing the crime. Instead of the alternative of grabbing them off the street and disappearing them to El Salvador.

Unfortunately I don't see the process available to you. Liz Truss resigned after pressure from her party. Can you see Donnie doing that? Or the Republicans even asking him to?
