In proper full on (potentially doomloop) trade war territory now. Trump saying that unless China withdraws its retaliatory tariffs US will impose *another* 50% tariff over and above what Trump has already announced.

Absolutely spot on regarding Starmer's play. He may have secured 10% tariffs but at what expense? A divide against Europe? Trump will now push the UK around and seek to break up the EU. Easier to bully whenever they're small parts.
