Electoral register accuracy report set for after election
The State body tasked with overseeing the electoral register is expected to publish a report on the accuracy of the list of voters after the general election.

We don’t know how many people aren’t voting. The register is imperfect - duplication, deceased, emigrants, people travelling, in hospital… the actual number not voting is much lower than we see. But yes, there are people who don’t care or are totally unengaged & we should fix that. With stories.
