Worthwhile commentary on bureaucratic inefficiency and how government waffling leads to avoidable suffering for the people, but the pacing was a drag and the characters and storytelling weren't the most engaging imo

Really fun collab with a lot of love and understanding of HxH and its characters. Interesting implications with how the Phantom Troupe is handled but idk if we'll ever get a followup so 😭

Didn't hit as hard for me as the anime did when I watched that in college, but still a good coming of age romance drama. Yamada and Takemoto are still my favorites, but it's a very different feeling seeing their arcs now than before

Short but pleasant read, I had a nice time with it

Was a fun watch but not quite standout MCU for me. The family/parenting dynamic and F4's relationship with their society were interesting, but it feels oddly situated timewise in terms of where the F4 are as characters

Just an okay read on its own but definitely feels more like a preliminary setup volume than anything else. Could go interesting places given how Dorohedoro was, but I'll probably just wait until this finishes eventually to binge it all

Definitely the best volume, the way so much of the past and present comes together and things come to a head hits hard. So much depression and complicated feelings when it comes to this cast 😭

Really good on rewatch, its portrayal of irresponsible technological danger, the power of community coming together, and the family dynamic all hit different even if I still feel the leads are a bit uneven and underdeveloped as characters

Another pretty good volume, the flashback stuff definitely gets increasingly depressing

Pretty meh idle browser fare I dropped after an hour or two. Some of the music wasn't bad, but nothing about it really felt worth the time or uniquely Negima to make me stick around, though I might have rated it lower if I did lmao
