Really fun collab with a lot of love and understanding of HxH and its characters. Interesting implications with how the Phantom Troupe is handled but idk if we'll ever get a followup so 😭

Really fun collab with a lot of love and understanding of HxH and its characters. Interesting implications with how the Phantom Troupe is handled but idk if we'll ever get a followup so 😭

Honey and Clover (Manga): 6/10 (maybe 6.5/10)
Didn't hit as hard for me as the anime did when I watched that in college, but still a good coming of age romance drama. Yamada and Takemoto are still my favorites, but it's a very different feeling seeing their arcs now than before

Finished 86 part 2 and damn I loved this show so much 😭😭 last couple episodes especially were absolute cinema and I'm excited to see where the story goes from here! Eagerly awaiting S2 but also even more interested in picking up the LN after enjoying the anime this much

86 Episode 22 was so good what the hell 😭😭 will miss this show once I'm done and hope season 2 becomes a thing, and I definitely need to pick up the LNs sometime as well

Hiroyuki Sawano concert was so fucking peak lives were changed 😭😭everything was great but Mizuki doing Avid and the Aldnoah songs was the highlight for me, such a spiritual experience me a decade ago always dreamed of. So happy I could see one of my anime GOATs perform today

Got master on Anila! She's fun to play but I feel like the more conventional shotos suit me a bit more. Gonna try Siegfried next, I played him a little bit closer to launch but didn't really click with him at the time, will see how I'm feeling now

Was a fun watch but not quite standout MCU for me. The family/parenting dynamic and F4's relationship with their society were interesting, but it feels oddly situated timewise in terms of where the F4 are as characters

Started 86 to prep for the Sawano concert and bc it's one I've been meaning to get into for a while anyway! First episode was pretty promising so definitely excited to see how the rest goes!

Just an okay read on its own but definitely feels more like a preliminary setup volume than anything else. Could go interesting places given how Dorohedoro was, but I'll probably just wait until this finishes eventually to binge it all

Definitely the best volume, the way so much of the past and present comes together and things come to a head hits hard. So much depression and complicated feelings when it comes to this cast 😭

Just hit master on Katalina too yay! I still don't really know light wall tech but even then she feels really solid, just a strong shoto all around. Was the easiest to hit master on it only took a day, definitely wanna play her more though! Might try Anila next

Got master on Djeeta yay! Was struggling a bit but I think when it really clicked that I need to play her more patiently and reactively than I'm used to on Gran or Beatrix I started doing a lot better! Gonna try Katalina next!

Pretty meh idle browser fare I dropped after an hour or two. Some of the music wasn't bad, but nothing about it really felt worth the time or uniquely Negima to make me stick around, though I might have rated it lower if I did lmao

Finished Girls Band Cry and I found it an absolute joy to watch. GBC is THE girls band anime with an incredibly expressive visual style, songs that intertwine incredibly well with the character writing and storytelling, and a true indie rock spirit that endeared me throughout
