The setting is some kind of grim fairytale, I did not spend too much time on their background yet.
The story is that the knight was ordered to clear out some castle ruins that were also the minotaurs home. I've not worked on too many details, but there's a fight, the minotaur gets hurt.

I feel like my friends will hurt me if they don't have one XD I'm just personally not one who cares a lot about happy endings. I am a hurt/no comfort kinda person but I know not everybody will be into that, so I'll have to wait and see where their story carries me.

OCs happen in different ways. Some are brainworms (Douglas and Willow were haunting me) and some are just fun design ideas that I really like and that turned into more (minotaur and knight). I don't have one way to go about it, it's more of an emotional attachement that turns a design into an OC.

I did an apprenticeship as a sign maker so I learned about fonts and fun stuff like gilding and a bit about pigments for paints.

I'm mostly self taught. I was in a high school that was "artistically minded" but we didn't have stuff like, color theory and life drawing or any of the useful things. Our teacher made us copy their favourite artist and sometimes we went to museums, it was weird.

This has been really bugging me as well. I saw a lot of it around and it's really tiring to not be able to just enjoy things anymore. It started with book covers and has made it's way everywhere, I hate it.
