I think it's okay to see where you agree with him, and where you don't. You can support someone on a subject without supporting all their opinions. (Not "you" directly, but all of us. I just don't want to sound like a dick by writing "one can" lol.)

I don't understand why no one has produced an open-source ereader for this purpose yet. In a perfect world, everyone's ancient Android tablet could be rooted to become an amazing open-source ereader, instead of landfill.

I dunno, I can't blame them. Well, not all of them. If they didn't know, they didn't know. And if they didn't listen, it's because they couldn't, at the time. We all have a hard time listening to the people we think are against us.
