I occasionally work on 3D prints, products, characters, and scans.
Here is the 2nd part of the setup. This is for setting up the character in ue5 with controls. I used unreal 5.2 because my computer is old. These are the basic settings and they are all open ended for any custom changes you can make. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

Had an idea on making a basic breakdown on how to get a character, animated & in unreal. I caught a glimpse of how different my perception of an idea is from execution. Originally I thought the whole thing would be around 10 mins. Heres a 9 min video, of the first half. So close

Now on it, I hope I can keep the vid under 10 mins. Here she's all rigged up in Maya. I set her up in HIK and added a mocap from mixamo, then did some animation edits.

Making a simple tutorial for myself about setting up a character with animation in ue5. I'm sure there are plenty of these around, but just to cement the steps in my head. Here I made a simple character that I will be using for this. She's based off of pearl from Steven universe.

I made a quick print for my kid the other day of something they've become obsessed with. Super simple, just used 3 alphas in zbrush and used cura to print it.
