I have been working for the past few years to create a bee friendly environment. No pesticides and bee friendly planting. This year has seen the native bumblebees strong again. The honeybees are also doing very nicely.
I go bee watching when politics gets too overwhelming.

Lost my bees this winter. Got new ones today, and they are already doing orientation flights and fanning to let everybody know that the queen is in business!

My simple resistance to today's inauguration is to take pictures of today's price of eggs, milk, and lettuce. Just to remind those who say prices will come down now. This is the price of eggs in Belfair, WA today.
